Lately, there is already one here in Baguio City. Maybe you have heard of the IGOROT CHEF RESTAURANT...It caters to real delicacies of highlands, something different to what other restaurants are offering on the table, at a fair price. Pinikpikan by the Kankanaeys is one of the most familiar chicken food cooking in the Cordilleras, but if you are at IGOROT CHEF RESTAURANT, it does not end to that. You would also surely like to experience the Kini-ing of the Ibaloi's, the native of Benguet. Aside from these two frontline delicacies of the highland are other twists of menus for you to choose from.
The IGOROT CHEF RESTAURANT is located at the Lower Ground Floor of the Pilando Center, Magsaysay Avenue, Baguio City. The building is next to the jeepney terminal going to La Trinidad. When you get to the entrance of the building, just ask the security guard to assist you to the lower ground, and there you are. The best thing about this is that you need not have to go far or out on the outskirts of the city to dine in.
There is also another restaurant catering to the food of Benguet. This is popular with visitors and tourists going to TAM-AWAN VILLAGE, one of the tourist spots in Benguet just near to Baguio City. People mistakenly say that Tam-awan Village is in Baguio, but the place is already a part of Benguet.
I am referring to the FARMER'S DAUGHTER Restaurant. It is located just next to the entrance of the Tam-awan Village, and it is along the road.
Come and experience the taste of the highlands.
